Gender inequality has become a social issue that has attracted attention in the last decade. For this reason, Bappeda together with BPS Surabaya City dissected the gender development index figures.

Quality human beings are equal to income, region and gender. The gender development index of Surabaya City this year is 95.56 and is classified as high middle equality.
