The increase in the number of college graduates is not always directly proportional to the absorption of the workforce. Data in the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) table shows that unemployment, including educated unemployment, remains a serious challenge amidst the ongoing demographic dividend.

On the other hand, the table of the proportion of workers by formal and informal sectors illustrates a labor market structure that is still dominated by the informal sector. This condition reflects the limited formal employment opportunities capable of optimally absorbing highly educated workers.

Through the presentation of this data, it is hoped that the public can understand employment dynamics more comprehensively. Strengthening the quality of human resources, increasing the relevance of education to labor market needs, and creating formal jobs are important steps to address future employment challenges.
