The Development of Consumer Price Index of Surabaya September 2020

In September 2020, the city of Surabaya experienced deflation of 0.18 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.05. Province of Jawa Timur experienced deflation of 0.15 percent, while at the national level it also experienced deflation of 0.05 percent. When compared to 8 CPI cities in Jawa Timur, almost all of them experienced deflation and only 1 city experienced inflation, namely the City of Kediri at 0.15 percent. It is recorded that the City of Probolinggo experienced the highest deflation of 0.35 percent, while the City of Surabaya itself experienced the second highest deflation.
