Abstract

In October 2020, the city of Surabaya experienced deflation of 0.02 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.03. Jawa Timur Province also experienced deflation of 0.02 percent, while at the national level it experienced inflation of 0.07 percent. When compared to 8 CPI cities in Jawa Timur, 4 cities experienced deflation and 4 cities experienced inflation. It is recorded that the City of Probolinggo experienced the highest inflation of 0.15 percent, while the one experiencing the highest deflation occurred in Sumenep Regency at 0.07 percent, and Surabaya City itself experienced the lowest deflation
