Abstract

In February 2021, Surabaya Municipality experienced inflation of 0.29 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.45. When compared, East Java experienced lower inflation of 0.22 percent and 0.10 percent at the national level. Of the 8 CPI cities in East Java, almost all experienced inflation, only Malang City experienced deflation of 0.01 percent. Sumenep Regency experienced the lowest inflation at 0.02 percent, while Surabaya Municipality experienced the highest inflation.
