Abstract

In August 2021, Surabaya City experienced inflation of 0.37 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.41. In comparison, East Java experienced a lower inflation of 0.17 percent and at the national level it was also lower at 0.03 percent. Of the 8 CPI cities in East Java, it was recorded that Surabaya City experienced the highest inflation, while Malang City experienced the lowest inflation. Sumenep Regency recorded the highest deflation of 0.16 percent.
