Welfare Statistics of Surabaya Municipality 2021

The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is one of the most important sources of household socio-economic data in Indonesia and is carried out regularly every year, including in the City of Surabaya in 2021. It includes data on the socio-economic sector of the community as well as data on people's welfare. The data generated by this survey has been widely used by various groups, both at home and abroad. Information collected in Susenas includes individual and household information. The information collected includes: population aspects; health; education; employment; fertility and family planning; housing and household consumption; and household socioeconomic conditions. The data is presented in the form of Public Welfare Statistics of the City of Surabaya 2021. Publication of People's Welfare Statistics in 2021 is the result of collecting Susenas data in March 2021. This publication is presented in the form of a percentage of a population that is disaggregated by gender and expenditure group, so that data users can find out differences in welfare levels as well as gender gap analysis. Susenas data presented in this publication are indispensable in order to support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of development results so that they run well and provide an overview of development achievements. In addition, this publication can be used by policy makers to evaluate development programs.
