Abstract

East Java Fishermen Exchange Rate (NTN) in February 2020 decreased 1.39 percent from 98.51 in January 2020 to 97.14 in February 2020. This decrease was caused by the price index received by fishermen decreased by 1.21 percent, whereas the price index paid by fishermen rose by 0.19 percent.
The development of NTN in February 2020 against December 2019 (calendar year) decreased by 0.88 percent. The NTN development in February 2020 against February 2019 (year-on-year) decreased by 1.09 percent.
Out of the six provinces in Java that calculated NTN in February 2020, two provinces experienced an increase in NTN and four provinces experienced a decrease in NTN. The increase in NTN occurred in the Province of D.I. Yogyakarta by 0.76 percent, and West Java Province by 0.04 percent. The provinces that experienced a decline in NTN were DKI Jakarta Province by 0.67 percent, Banten Province by 0.75 percent, East Java Province by 1.39 percent, and Central Java Province by 1.57 percent.
