Abstract

In May 2021, Surabaya City experienced inflation of 0.33 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.99. In comparison, Jawa Timur Province experienced a lower inflation of 0.27 percent and slightly lower at the national level of 0.32 percent. Of the 8 CPI cities in Jawa Timur Province, all of them experienced inflation or price increases. Sumenep Regency experienced the highest inflation at 0.41 percent, and the lowest was Madiun City at 0.05 percent, while the City of Surabaya itself experienced the second highest inflation.
