Abstract

In July 2021, Surabaya City experienced inflation of 0.20 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.02. In comparison, East Java experienced a lower inflation of 0.17 percent and at the national level it was also lower at 0.08 percent. Of the 8 CPI cities in East Java, it was recorded that Sumenep Regency experienced the highest inflation of 0.42 percent and Surabaya City itself experienced the third highest inflation, while the highest deflation occurred in Kediri City of 0.08 percent.
